The Great Boot Hoot
Kids at Ronald McDonald House Get Creative With Their Blundstones
Blundstone Australia is proud to have once again supported the annual Red Boot Hoot fundraising ball, an initiative of Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland (RMH SEQ).
RMH SEQ is a charity that provides accommodation and support services for seriously ill or injured children and their families. Their aim is to help keep families close to each other by providing 24-hour facilities for them to stay at and utilise when they are away from home.
For the past three years, ‘The Great Blundstone Boot Table Draw’ has become a much loved part of the Red Boot Hoot event. Each year, we donate boots to RMH SEQ in which the families, staff, volunteers and donors decorate the boots during the first half of the year.. The boots - sporting their new designs - are then auctioned off to the highest bidder at each table during the ball.
An incredible $400,000 was raised at this year’s Red Boot Hoot. The sold-out event was a huge success.
We would like to say thank you to Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland for their important support for children and families in need and we look forward to continuing our support of this great organisation.
Great boots everyone!
